Project Technical Manager

We are seeking either a crop or animal science specialist with experience in project management for the position of project technical manager of QualityLowInputFood.

Reporting to the project co-ordinator, Professor Carlo Leifert, you will be responsible for managing the collection of WP and subproject-specific technical reports, the preparation and timely submission of consolidated technical reports to the European Commission and the co-ordination of exchanges or project deliverables between partners.

You will also be expected to support the work and preparation of scientific publications and/or technology transfer/training activities under either the crop agronomy (WP 2.1 and 3.3.2) or the dairy research programme (WP 2.2.1 and 2.2.2) contracted to the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Science editor opening

EurActiv is seeking a science editor to do research, writing, interviews and analysis on science, research and technology in and around the European Union. IFOAM Executive Director

IFOAM calls for an IFOAM Executive Director. The deadline for submitting applications to recruitment@ifoam.org has been extended to May 20th 2005. The position shall be filled by September 1st 2005.

Gerald A. Herrmann, the current Executive Director and IFOAM Vice President, was contracted by the World Board in September 2004 after he offered to fill the position on an interim basis for a period of one year.
