4th QLIF congress in Modena 19-20 June, 2008
The 4th QLIF congress takes place on 19-20 June 2008 at the occassion of the 16th Organic World Congress in Modena, Italy.
QLIF organizes five interdisciplinary workshops that presents and reviews the findings within major topics of the QLIF project. The programme for these workshops is now updated with titles of presentations, and names of presenters and moderators.
All workshops will present a comprehensive review based on recent findings and scientific progress by the large number of leading experts participating in the QLIF research project within the topics of:
The series of workshops will be opened by Dr. Timothy Hall, Acting Director for Biotechnologies, Agriculture, Food, European Commission, DG Research.

QLIF course on HACCP for the organic sector
QLIF in cooperation with CCFRA offers training courses that enable delegates to obtain an introduction to the principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) and the practicalities of implementation with special reference to organic production.
The workshops will use case studies in accordance with the interests of the delegates. All the training sessions will provide an opportunity to work with crop or animal topics on all the training dates.
Workshop venues and dates are:
- Turkey on 29th May
- Netherlands on 3rd July
- UK on 29th September
- Switzerland on 23rd October
- Poland on 26th November
